Hello world!

I guess it's time say hello, and welcome you all to what I hope, will be an interesting journey in the coming year.

The moths are indeed taking flight and I invite you all to join me at this exciting time.
Aside from the moths I hope to give you a little view of life in the Kitley woods, a special place, where Darwin the hawk; Jasper the dog; Kathryn and myself; few chickens and all other manor of wild beast live.  It is a place where the imagination can grow.

Devon Moths starting to emerge

A DEVON artist is using trees from some of the county’s most historic estates to create his unique hand-carved wooden moths.

Boat builder-turned artist Andre Daniel uses a variety of British native woods from fallen trees for his work.
